The Old Pros present an original performance piece, Auditions!!, at their regular meeting Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 at Clubhouse 7 at 7 pm. Directed by Al Glover and written by Paul Lambert, the piece explores the effects of an audition on four actors at different stages of their careers. Actors Barbara Turino, Paul Lambert, Al Glover, Susan Adleman, Steven Bently, Irwin Rosenfeld and Karen Elliot will be performing speeches from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams, LongDay’s Journey into Night by Eugene O’Neill and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf by Edward Albee.
As always, the doors open at 6:30 and the play begins at 7 pm. Remember, members are free, guests are $5 and delicious, complimentary snacks are available. The Old Pros’ proudly present The Dead, a one act play adapted from James Joyce’s “The Dubliners” by David H. Klein at our regular monthly meeting, Wednesday, March 26 at Clubhouse 7. Produced and directed by Michael Pontecorvo, the play features Cheryl Baker, Leeann Nolan, Carol Glenn, Gregory Anderson and Keitheley Wilkinson, recreating an annual dinner dance in turn of the century Dublin. James Joyce was one of the most influential authors of the Twentieth Century, writing A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Ulysses and Finnegan’s Wake plus volumes of poetry.
